1.                  The name of this Club shall be the Chev Bowtie Club of Canberra ACT.

 

2.         Membership is open to all Chevrolet owners and enthusiasts.        

 

3.         All members will consist of family, single or associate members with fees being nominated at the start of each financial year.

 

4.         All aims of this Club are to preserve all makes and models of Chevrolets and to encourage friendship within the members and other Clubs throughout Australia.

 

5.         Meetings will be held once monthly at Club members homes on a rotation basis. (Except for the months of December and January where no meetings are to be held). The election of Office Bearers and General Committee (for the 12 month period commencing 1 August each year) will take place at the Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting will be held at the July meeting after closing of the Club’s previous financial year.

 

6.         Club books and all financial statements are to be audited before the Annual General Meeting by a minimum of two (2) financial members.

 

7.         A minimum quorum for an Annual General Meeting is (6) members.

 

8.         The Committee (minimum) will consist of President, Secretary and Treasurer. Any other positions will be assigned to members when and if required.

 

9.         The Club will affiliate with the Confederation of Australia Motor Sport Ltd and abide by its rules and constitution and those of the FIA.
